The frame is solidly constructed, featuring 4x2 timber for the horizontal rails and 3x2 timber for the vertical bracing. This ensures a robust structure that provides ample support for hinges, locks, and bolts, while guaranteeing long-lasting performance.
The gate is clad with vertical barrel boards, which are slightly rounded along the front to create a smooth, sturdy surface. Each board is securely attached to the frame, forming a unified and resilient barrier. The straight top adds a classic touch that suits both modern and traditional properties.
Constructed from tanalised pressure-treated timber, sourced from sustainable forests, the gate is built to resist weathering, rot, and insect damage. The pressure treatment ensures that your gate remains strong and visually appealing for many years to come.
All gates are made to the exact width and height you need, you will be asked for the measurements you require when you complete the checkout.

To order firstly select the height you require.
Gates can be made lower than the height stated 'up to height', so for example if you need a gate 160cm high- choose the 180cm height.
Then choose the width of gate you need.
Again gates can be made narrower than the width chosen, so for example if you need a gate 112cm wide- choose the 120cm width. Remember to take in account swing and hinge room. We recommend 15mm – 20mm.
Next select the hinge side, looking at the gate from the front. The hinge side determines the direction of the bracing at the back of the gate.
